Fiit - Building a Responsive Fitness App called Hyrox 365

image

Challenge: Fiit, a leading fitness company, wanted to create an immersive, user-friendly fitness app for Hyrox called Hyrox 365. The app needed to be responsive, visually appealing, and integrate with Fiit's backend services to provide a superior user experience.

Our Approach: Working closely with Fiit's design team and backend engineers, we managed and led the end-to-end front-end development for the Hyrox 365 app. Key technical aspects included:

  • Implementing a modular and reusable component architecture using React and styled components
  • Using React's Context API to manage global application state and ensure efficient data flow
  • Integrating with GraphQL endpoints to fetch and display data from the backend services
  • Optimising the application for responsiveness and cross-device compatibility
  • Collaborating with the design team to implement pixel-perfect UI designs
  • Deploying Storybook to develop, test, and document UI components in isolation, promoting code reusability and maintainability

Result: After just three months, we successfully built and launched Fiit's Hyrox 365 app. The app's sleek and intuitive interface, combined with its responsive design, received very positive feedback from users. Our use of React, React's Context API, GraphQL, and Storybook enabled efficient data management, a smooth user experience, and a modular, maintainable codebase. Fiit's Hyrox 365 app stands as a testament to our ability to deliver high-quality, seamless front-end solutions.
